As guys, there are very few grooming accessories that we absolutely need (especially as there is less and less hair on the top of our heads).  However, we couldn't be without a beard trimmer.  The challenge was to find something that would work without having to bring a voltage adapter.  We looked to our phones, which only need a plug adapter, and then realized what we needed was a beard trimmer that charges via USB.  And we found them!  The one we are currently using (and the one we recommend) is the Suprent IPX7 Waterproof Beard Trimmer for Men. 

We used another USB rechargeable trimmer on the first leg of our trip, and this one is a definite upgrade.  It's got USB-C fast charging, an upgraded motor compared to our last model so it glides more smoothly, and it's got a count-down percentage on the charger so we're never stuck mid-trim when it just conks out.  With each of us trimming every 7 days or so, the charge lasts about a month (we are less frequent now that we are traveling full time).   We think this model is the right blend of convenience and power to make it the best beard trimmer for international travel.
